Stork's Image 3010 computer aided design system provides digital preprint processin gto a wide market of engravers and printers. The system has 240 color channels, enablitn the designer to use multitoned colors. Tow high resolution monitors permit the simultaneous visualizatio of the complete design and details of the dwsign. Image 3010 is compatible ith Stork's STK-3000 design processin gsystem, which comprises color scanners and plotters, a laser engraver, film plotters, a coloring station, a jet printer, and a color physics system. Linkage with paste dispension systems is possible. Stork has extended the capabilities of this system byt additng the VDM 2000 and VDM 2010 Virtual Design Modeling stations, which enable the realistic simulation of apparel and home furnishings in use.
