Asyst has significantly expanded the computer controls on tis line of jiggers. Computers control all processign parameters, particularly the number of cycles, the process cycle, the speed and temperature of each passage, the time beween cycles, and the time required or sampling. Jiggers fitted with computer control are the Jigg-45, the Jigg-70, the Jigg-106, the Jigg-128, the Jigg-151, and the Jigg-HT. 11. These models range in maximum batch diameters from 450 millimeters to 1,100 millimeters and in faric speed from 30 to 225 meters perminute. Computer control is optimal is such operations as the high temperature dyeing of polyester, which is sensitive to samll canges in parameters. Computer control also minimizes the number of samples that need to be taken, which contributes significantly to cost control.
