Megaba has developed a new 200 millimeter narrow fabric dye range that processes shorter runs, is easier to operate, and saves floor space. The machine is capable or operating at relatively high speeds with fur to six eds, and can incorporate quick color changes. The machien can be used in conjuncti with Megabe's new EZ feedig device for processing elastic tapes. The new device features a J-box, which allows for the extra tape reserve necessary for handling elastic tape without stoppign the machien for knots, tangles, or the insertion of staples. For rigid tapes, an EL model feed ro roll-off spools from a rack can be substituted. A ew steamer concept, employing single sided vearings so that the rollers have an open end at the door, leaving their operational side entirely free, is featured on the new dye range. This arrangement is better suited to short runs and quick changes than conventional steamers. Two rows of rollers on bot the upper and lower levels of the dye range provide rwice the capacity of fabric in the smae space.
