Biancalani's Airo 1000 finishing machine incorporates a patented soft transport system. Fabric is introudced in rope form and pushed by means of air in specially formed venturi tubes. Each ventrui tube is supplied with arir from a high pressure turbine. Kinetic energy collected by the material is discharged against a grid at the rear section of the machine. the materal then drops into the main trough and slides on a Teflon coated base to the front of the machine where the process can be repeated. possible fabric treatments include softening and drying of damp fabric cotton, wool, or silk, softtening and drying of damp fabirc floolowing squeezing or hydorextracting, with or without chemical auxiliary agents, artidficial aging of wet or dry fabics made of cotton or denim; wasing of raw or dyed meterials for slftening or light fulling; and creasing dry or moist fabric with pressure rollers.
