Datacolor International recentaly introduced the DS5-32, a compact gravimetric dispenser and solution maker for small dyehouses that use a limited range of dyestuffs. The DS5-32 can store up to 30 dye or auxiliary solutions in 1 liter glass bottles and automatically dispenses recipes to an accuracy of 0.02 gram. On average, the DS5-32 takes 60 seconds to dispense 200 cubic centimeters of a recipe comprising 3 different dyestuffs. The ES5-32 features hot and cold water mixing tanks, four integral mixing stations, individual agitation units for all bottles, and an electronic balance with an accuacy of 0.01 gram. The DS5-32 includes a 386 class personal computer with CRT monitor, keyboard, and printer. Datacolor provides software so that data from the DS5-32 can be matched with international color measurement standards.
