Datacolor International's Formula Moving Valve Dispensing System (MVDS) is a small batch dispensing system for dyes. The system is notable for its speed and high level of precision and flexibility. Central to its design is the dispensing head, which contains three flow rate mocrovalves that are pneumatically positioned and controlled. The number of valves depends on the complexity of the task. The DS5-32 is a high performance combined dispenser and solution maker, which is notable for its speed in dye testing. This speed significantly increases capacity and efficiency in the laboratory. The use of a TCM4 color computer linked to a Spectraflash SF500 increases control of production quality. THe DS5-32 is only approximately 1 meter wide, but holds 30 different solutions in 1 liter bottles.
