The Ciba Laboratory in Chile, established in 1962, is a major supplier of the dyes-used in the country's textile industry. A Datatcolor Texflash spectrophotmeter and Iris software were instlalled in 1990 for quality control and colour correction, together with Ahiba machinery for laboratory dyeing.
