The paper describes three colur application and control systems developed for the textile industry by Talia srl: the CromaSprint colorimetry system, the software of which operated on a 486 PC using MS DOS, a graphic printer and a spectrophotometer; the CromaQuality system, a system of colour quality control based on the Durst Chromograph spectrophotomerter; and the CromaSpace programme, a programme designed for use with the CAD TEX textile systems produced by Abaco Informatica can the Jaquard Pixelart CAD system for printing and weaving.
