A method for printing and dyeing of fabrics with acid dyes is claimed. An aqueous solution containing specific compounds is initially printed on the material, after which it is subjected to a fixing process where the fibres are modified. The material is subsequently dyed by the exhaust or padding method. IPC D06P.
