Textile finishing development is primarily market and environment orientated, with the accent on automation and optimization of dyeing and finishing. Quality management, computer control, robotization, and the latest measuring techniques and dyestuff ranges are increasing productivity and reproducibility. 'Blind dyeing' without sampling, even with decreasing batch sizes and shorter lead times, is necessitating smaller and more flexible dyeing units.
