Lanstar High Force's technology for treating dye-house waste water

Catalytic oxidation of effluents (COE), a new process for the treatment of dyehouse wastewater developed by Lanstar High Force, is described. The COE process produces effective colour removal, detoxification and odour removal, together with a reduction of up to 80％ in the chemical oxygen demand. Hydrogen peroxide is used as oxidizing agent, but the unique feature of the process is the use of a new catalyst. Technical and economic comparisons with other processes are made.
