The Microwash rinsing system developed by Sclavos SA is described. It is designed for use on the Apollon dyeing machines. With this system clean hot water is introduced directly to the nozzles and the fabric is washed more efficiently due to the high exchange of liquor to fabric in the spray tube. Used in conjunction with the Rinse Trough system the Microwash facilitates the rapid removal of insoluble material from the surface of the dye bath, the rapid and efficient dilution of the bath liquor and the effective cleaning of imprities in the fabric. The system reduces water consumption, costs and cycle time.
