Tubular Textile Machinery Incorporated (Tube-Tex) of Lexington, North Carolina, manufactures finishing machines for knit fabrics. Tube-Tex was founded in the 1930s, but the introduction of the Pak-Nit Ⅱ compactor in 1987 hastened its growth. The Pak-Nit Ⅱ mechanically preshrinks cotton and cotton blend tubular knit fabrics. In addition to Pak-Nit Ⅱ, Tube-Tex also manufactures equipment for dye machine unloading, detwisting, spreading, extracting, chemical application, drying, and compacting of tubular and open width cotton knit fabrics. The 9-60 4-Roll Pad is a machine for the spreading extracting, and chemical processing of circular knit fabrics in tubular form. It can be used in a batch operation of in conjunction with Tube-Tex's HQ dryer range in a continuous line that includes fabric treatments from detwising to drying. The DyRoll is a two roll pad for the continuous application of dyes or bleaches to circular knit fabrics in tubular form. All Tube-Tex machines offer automation and include flexiss control based on a programmable logic controller.
