Double Overflow Technology - A Major Advance in Fabric Dyeing.

Sclavos' Double Overflow Technology, as integrated in its Apollon Twin Soft Flow dyeing machine, represents a significant development in fabric dyeing. The machine dyes elastic fabrics with no problems and frequently with no heat setting because of the very low lengthwise tension during dyeing. The low tension reduces edge curling and terefore eliminates unlevel dyeing at the selvages. Woolen fabrics are dyeable without felting or fiber loss. Double Overflow Technology permits the dyeing of a wide range of fabric weights. Different fabric types and widths can be dyed in the same rope with no problem. The machine eliminates twisting so that light weight or narrow fabrics can be dyed in double ropes with the same jet. Dyeing therefore proceeds at full weight capacity. 4 refs.
