A review of textile machinery on display at the Fifth Osaka Textile Machinery Show (OTEMAS), held in Japan during November 1993, discusses engineering trends and profiles exceptional equipment. Equipment profiles include specification tables and, in most cases, photographs. In Part One, sections bear the following titles: General Outline, Synthetic Fiber Manufacturing Machinery (including polyester chip dryers, high speed crimping machines, false twist crimping machines, and winding machines), Spinning Machinery (including blowroom processors, carding machines, combing machines, gill boxes, ring spinning machines, rotor spinning machines, and air jet spinning machines), and Weaving Machinery and its Related Machinery (including rapier looms, air jet looms, quick style change systems, automatic pick removers, and automatic doffers).
