This article describes the Maestro colour management system developed by Marchem in conjunction with leading international colour chemists, mesh and chemical manufacturers, pigment suppliers and printers. Maestro (Marchem's Advanced electronic System for Textile Reference and Organisation) is two part system consisting of a colour guide and a computer-based system. The functions of the system include recipe recording, batching, reworking, stock control, costing and prediction.
