Then's aerodynamic dyeing system propels fabrics with a flow of moist air or with a flow of air that contains saturated steam. These dyeing machines inject dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries directly into the air stream. This injection system evenly distributes the atomized bath liquors onto the fabric surface and optimizes liquor penetration. Compared with conventional hydraulic dyeing machines, the advantages of an aerodynamic system include large reductions in water and chemical consumption, short turnaround times, short heating times, and the elimination of such fabric defects as rope marks and crow's feet.
