The methods currently available for the treatment of dyehouse effluent to be indirectly discharged are presented. The systems described are precipitation/reductive effluent treatment, oxidative dyestuff destruction, filtration/adsorption, splitting of oil/water emulsions and polymer dispersions, stripping and condensation by evaporation and final condensation.
