Smart Weigh, Datacolor International's (DCI) new state-of-the-art system, controls the accurate weighing and dispensing of dyes and liquids for better first time dyeing. Smart Weigh takes the bulked production recipe automatically from DCI's recipe management system. The operator can then specify the scale and container to be used for each product, as well as the individual tolerances. The operator can also check the current scheduled list of jobs to be weighed and report the actual weights. Optional equipment for Smart Weigh includes a bar code scanner for batch ticket and product verification.
