Benninger AG's BEN-JIG, a versatile all purpose jigger, allows manufacturers to complete such processes as washing, bleaching, and dyeing for small open width lots precisely and economically. A modern AC drive replaces the conventional hydraulic drive. The electronically controlled, individual drives maintain a constant speed and tension. A special compensating roll regulates the minium tension and controls the speed of the unrolling fabric. The BEN-JIG, which can work with minimum tension, is suitable for tension sensitive and stretch fabrics. The longitudinal tension can be controlled from 5-1,000 kilograms, and remains constant even under extreme accelerating and braking conditions. Standard equipment includes selvage alignment, oscillating devices, and the capability to set several sample points.
