The teinturerie des Francs dyeing plant has five major areas: dyeing of wool and manmade fiber tops; vigoureux printing and bleaching; acrylic two dyeing and stretch breaking; shrink resist treatment of wool; and carding or recombing after dyeing. The facility can handle large lots in plain shades or small lots in complex shades. Teinturerie's new vigoureux printing machine is three times more productive than the previous printing machine. It recently invested in a computer system to allow greater supervision of color control. Teinturerie hopes to attain ISO 9000 accreditation by the end of 1996.
