In the past year dyeing machine developments have been dominated by cycle time and water savings. The opportunities for saving time are in the preparation stage and rinsing processes rather than in the dyeing process itself. Details are given of the improvements made in the Gaston County AT, the Thies eco-Soft Plus, the Sclavos Venus, the Langclose Airsoft, the Brazzoli Saturno, the Scholl RapidStar, the Then Airflow and the Fong MK18 fabric dyeing machines. The water and time savings are quantified in each case.
