The use of OECD standard screening methods and in vitro technology provides affordable, systematic data to estimate environmental impacts and consumer safety information. BurcoCare is a systematic approach by Burlington Chemical Co., Inc. to standardize and make user friendly complex environmental and health related data. BurcoCare technology makes data available to users of textile chemicals in a format that allows for computer interpretations and integration of product stewardship into mill operation. It is only by having data available and inuse at the mill decision making level that product stewardship can reduce accidents and water pollution. The data is easily stored and reported in database formats for integration into corporate safety and reporting plans.
