Criteria for the ecological comparison of dyeing processes using cotton dyeings as an example (German)

The results of dyeing cotton clearly show that specific dyeings can be classified on an ecological basis, although generalization soon runs up against limits, since dyeing assistants make too great a contribution to process load values. Process load values based on safety data sheets or measurment open up the simple possibility of producing load-reducing fromulations. Direct, reactive and vat dyeings are investigated.
