This paper discusses the development, by Industrial automation Systems (IAS), Italy, of a series of dosing applications for liquid dyes, dyes in powder form, printing pastes and chemical and auxiliary products. It lists the features of the new high performance system (HPS), noting its flexibility in respect of the number of colours and thickeners and the number of dosing recipes per day. It also reviews the performance of the company's Compact colour kitchen, and its most versatile colour kitchen, in the IAS range, the Perfect model, that enables powders, liquids and chemical products to be dosed on the same line, both for printing and dyeing.
