Benninger designed its modular Ben-Jig dyeing machine to process small lots of fabrics, including those with a high level of sensitivity to tension. The machine is notable for its robust construction, ease of operation and maintenance, and safety. It processes rolls of fabric up to 1,000 minute. The longitudinal tension varies from 5-100 kilograms, which is important to adjust during acceleration and deceleration to prevent fabric damage, particularly in elastic fabrics. The Ben-Jig has a range of applications, from pretreatment and dyeing to highly specialized finishes. Even with small lot sizes, the line operates at relatively low costs because of the low consumption of water and chemicals.
