Researchers investigated the fixation levels of Ciba-Geigy's Cibacron LS bis monofluoro-s-triazine dyes on cellulosic fibers and yarns. The Cibacron reactive dye and bis monochloro-s-triazine were compared for performance and environmental impact. Spectrophotomerters assessed the velocity of hydrolysis for bis monofluoro-s-triazine, monochloro-s-triazine, and bis monochloro-s-triazine dyes. 18 refs.
