The method claimed relates to the bleaching of cellulosic materials dyed with direct or reactive dyes, where the materials are treated in a bleaching and after treatment bath which includes the following: stabilizers for an aqueous hydrogen peroxide liquor; cationic monomers; and nonionic surfactants.
