The Scalvos Diplo dyeing machine is capable of dyeing delicate fabrics, particularly fubular knit fabrics. Any fiber type can be processed. The liquor ratio is 1:5, which increases the dye yield and reproducibility and decreases the consumption of water and chemicals. Transport is tensionless. Water pressure is minimal. The Air-Flow unit injects air against the rope, which causes it to ballon. Crease marks are thereby eliminated, and liquor penetration is even. The volume of liquor circulation is adjustable. The liquor flows down both sides of the fabric by gravity for optimal wetting and penetration. Two synchronously driven rollers gently squeeze the fabric to distribute the liquor and increase pick-up. The fabric is finally submerged in teh liquor in a J-box.
