Aero-Dye Machine for Lyocell Finishing

Krantz Textiltechnik GmbH's Aero-Dye dyeing machine creates a broad range of surface effects on such fabrics as polynosic blend, polyester, microfiber blend, viscose blend, cotton, and Lyocell fabrics. Possible effects include an opalescent look; peach skin, sand, and eggshell finishes; and an extremely soft hand. The Aero-Dye features an aerodynamic fabric transporter, a frequency controlled blower for each rope, strict segregation of fabric transport and liquor supply, direct rinsing, and optional tumbling or tumble drying equipment. Courtaulds T＆A tested the Aero-Dye for dyeing Lyocell fabrics under production conditions. The Aero-Dye performed outstandingly for primary filbrillation, enzymatic defibrillation, single step dyeing with secondary fibrillation, and tumble drying.
