A new automatic colour kitchen installed at the Miroglio Tessile SpA factory is described. It is based on Color Service equipment and features centralized computer control, automatic storage, weighing, dosage and distribution of powder and liquid dyes, chemicals and auxiliaries. The objectives of the new system were to reduce product consumption, to minimize manual intervention and to ensure a constant quality of the final product. Accurate dosage produces savings of chemicals and a reduction in pollution.
