The dyeing machine claimed has a cylindrical casing which is divided into top and bottom fabric holders. An operator feeds fabric past a dye spouter which pushes the fabric past screens, through the parallel bars of which excess dye drips into a cotainer. Similarly, fabric is fed past another spouter. The fabric ends are connected, permitting fabric circulation only by the spouters. Each spouter is reversible to move the fabric back-wards and forwards; each may comprise fabric forwarding and reversing nozzles. Internal nozzle selectors are rotated simultaneously by external linkage to direct dye through the forwarding or reversing nozzles. Reversing of the fabric by the reversing nozzles permits unfolding of any untidy fabric. Dye levels in the containers are controlled automatically. IPC D06B.
