Dyeing Behavior of Lenzing Lyocell Fibres.

Researchers used Levafix and Sirius dyes to compare Lenzing's lyocell fibers with viscose, modal, and cotton fibers. Tests examined substantivity, fixation behavior, and color yield. Despite a very high dye yield, the dye uptake rate of the lyocell fibers proved similar to that of viscose fibers.
