Researchers spun 0.9 dtex polyester microfiber in a ring spinning frame under different processing conditions. Taguchi's method allowed researchers to test the effects of traveler speed, type of traveler, antiballooning, doffing, and drawing on polyester microfiber. Results determined the tinctorial behavior of dyes on the resulting yarns. 5 refs.
