Researchers studied the action of two commercial nonionic auxiliaries on the aggregation of two acid dyes in wool dyeing. Experiments focused on the influence of the concentration of the auxiliary products, pH, and temperature on the dyeing kinetics. The nonionic auxiliary products increased the dye uptake rate of the fiber. 14 refs.
