This article presents the evolution of jet dyeing machinery. It discusses the latest technology seen in the machines of ATYC, Spain. The possibilities offered to the textile dyer are reviewed and the advantages of different dyeing machines are described. Functional design of machines is discussed in view of their usefulness and future development trends.
