Study of the low-sludge treatment and recycling of printing effluents (AIF No. 9699) (German)

A method of treating printing effluents using a combination of chemical oxidation and aerobic biology and to recycle the effluents in various printing works is described. It is found that the effluents have been adequately treated and that residual printing pastes (0.3-1 ㎏/㎥ effluent) can be added with no problems. The effluents can thus be treated economically and the environment is adequately protected.
