Henriksen's recent developments in jigger technology eliminated such problems as dark edges and light endings. The new jigger features achieve even temperatures, avoid evaporation from the fabric roll, and reach speeds of up to 200 meters per minute. Henriksen's Eco-rinse system, incorporated in its Vacu-Jigger, reduces the amount of rinse water needed. The Eco-rinse system uses a suction slot placed in the center of the bath. Separate rinsing tubes are on each side. The system rinses in an empty vat and removes liquid from the fabric through the suction system. An equal amount of water is added to the fabric before it is rolled up agin. Tests carried out by the Dansk Textil Institut showed that the Vacu-Jigger with the Eco-rinse system produced large water savings, shorter processing times, cleaner fabrics, and better rubfastness.
