The Penta Jig fabric preparation and dyeing machines produced by the Italian firm Texcel Italia are presented. The PJ, PJS and PJSW series carry out the technological processes involved in fabric preparation and dyeing with maximum flexibility and quality, even with limited production runs. The series PJS and PJSW Inert are modified to permit the expulsion of air and the introduction of saturated steam or inert gas. Preparation, dyeing, development and final washing are carried out in the same machine. The process is compared with the traditional process and found to require less time, energy, manpower and space.
