in this study, the influence of various thickeners and their combinations in printing pastes used for polyester/cotton (polycot) blends is examined. the dye migration during the drying stage, the water movement, and the technical migration of the dye particles through print-dry-thermofixation techiques are thoroughly evaluated it is shown that adding bentonite in printing pastes produces the lowest technical migration values as compared to those given by using single thickeners. 19 refs
