Non-formaldehyde based agents are being studied in order to substitute existing formaldehyde (HCHO) based products due to their known carcinogen character. The author reports on experiments undertaken in pigment printing. Sunnyfix NF is introduced as totally free from formaldehyde, which shows good fastness characteristics and less tendency to yellowing.
