Mezzera, and Italian textile machine manufacturer, has developed the Deliflux SDF overflow dyeing machine for woven and knit silk. Overflow dyeing assures minimal agitation of the fabric to eliminate dyeing defects, such as creasing. Modifications to the dragging reel, which is located immediately above the level of the liquid, result in tensionless processing. A counterflow system facilitates fabric positioning on the reel surface and eliminates temperature differences inside the rope. A Jucker-Obsa microprocessor controls production. Machines can be linked to double the load or to process one load through two different dyeing cycles. Production capacity is 25 kilograms per fabric rope; mechanical speed is 100 meters per minute.
