Becatron's Datex range of microprocessor control systems for textile dyeing and finishing equipment are discussed. The Datex Micro is an economical instrument for temperature and time control on laboratory dyeing machines. The Datex Mini is used for the semi-automatic and automatic control of production machines. The Datex 2000 control system is used to automate an entire dyeing range and is suitable for controlling piece dyeing ranges, HT dyeing autoclaves, jigs with vessels on call, and pressure and high-speed dryers. Solftware for the Datex 2000 is considered.
