New Focus for Rinsing by Jet Overflow Machines: Aqua Chron Rinsing System.

Pretreatments and aftertreatments used in reactive dyeing of cotton with jet overflow dyeing machines require large consumption of water, energy, and time. To decrease this consumption, Sclavos SA developed the Venus HT 2 dyeing machines that use the Aqua Chron rinsing system. Aqua Chron is notable or its continuous operations, eliminating the need for filling and emptying the rinsing chamber. Fresh water enters through a heat exchanger and contaminated water exits to a drainage system. The most important components of the Aqua Chron are the Twin Soft Flow System and the Excess Liquor By-Pass System. The Twin Soft Flow System ensures optimal exchange between the fiber and the insing bath. The Excess Liquor By-Pass System ensures that contaminated water does not recontaminate the rinsing bath. 8 refs.
