Stork Screen's STK-2010 laser engraver enables a design to be digitally stored and transferred to the screen in one operation. This process eliminates developing and polymerizing after engraving the screen. The laser is capable of focusing at 50 micrometers, which results in very high resolution designs. Halttone designs with a mesh count of 125 and 155 are possible. All conventional engraving methods can be performed, either with or without a tensioning roller. Screens with or without an end ring can be used in the latter case. A Manual Computer Design is used both to correct and retouch designs and to separate and overlap colors in a contour drawing. The laser engraver is equipped either with a black and white or a color scanner.
