A state-of-the-art automated liquid dye dispensing system from the Italian company CIR has been installed on the Neochrome production line at the Courtaulds acrylic fiber plant in Grimsby, United Kingdom. The online dispensing system allows for rapid color changes with excellent consistency and reproducibility. The system consists of see-through dye storage tanks, a computerized dye recipe database, metering valves, and an automatic control module. Using the dispensing system, the Courtaulds plant can continuously produce colored Neochrome fiber.
