Batch dyeing machinery for knit fabrics exhibited at ITMA 1991 is reviewed. Major trends were low liquor ratios and refinements in the mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic agitation of the fabric during dyeing. Machinery exhibited included Then's Airflow AFS and Airflow Supra; ICBT's Alizee, Aquilon horizontal machine, and Beneflow CBS; ATYC's Airtint, Rapidsnau F/FL, Overflor HT, MT, and BT, and Superturbo; Thies's Luft-rotor, Eco-soft, Soft-streams SIV and SV, Ringsoft, and Soft TRD; MTM-Obermaier's Turbosurf AT6; Laip's Softflow 600/HT and LR; Tung Shing's AD-100; Fong's MK7-140, MK6-140, GN9-100, and Dynawin DW90-2T2; Dizma's Compactflow-M; C. Tex's Niagara Flow HTF and BT; Sclavos's Diplo and Apollon Twin; Flainox's Ghibil-flow; adn MCH's Mach Four and Mach Flow.
