Dyeing and printing equipment displayed at ITMA 1991 was compatible with Quick response production scheduling. Operating parameters and production sequences could be altered with little effort of expense. Also associated with the trend towards Quick Response, dyeing and printing machine featured greater versatility in terms of fabric batches, fabric weights, and fabric types. Control systems were more sophisticated because of the influence of computer technology. Automatic dye and chemical dispensing systems were numerous. Dyeing and printing equipment by major manufacturers exhibited at ITMA 1991 is described.
