Dispensing equipment for printing includes Stork's Rhea color kitchen for samples, which complements Stork's saturn production dispensing machine. The Rhea system dispenses up to 60 colors and chemicals and up to eight thickeners. Two dispensing stations in a cascade system dispense samples into 1-5 liter cups. The Rhea system uses the same software and interfaces as the Saturn system. ColorService's Lab/S system uses the gravimetric method to measure dyes. Vanwyk Textile systems' Universal Compact Dispenser (USD) and Direct Compact Dispenser (DCD) use a modular approach to combine ease of operation, high capacity, and low cost. The UCD and DCD operate as stand alone systems or integrate with automatic mixing and transport modules. GSE Klieverik upgraded its IPS1200 by adding twin and cascade dispensing and self learning machine controls to its Textile Management Software package.
