Possibility of removing colour from dyebaths using a natural absorbent (Bulgarian)

A spectrophotometric study is made of the capacity of a natural absorbent to remove the colour from dyebaths when using 19 direct dyes, 20 acid dyes and 22 reactive dyes. It is found that 60-80% of the direct dyes and 30-40% of the acid dyes are absorbed.
